Availability and purpose
Founder's Desk is Coming Soon. The surface is present in roadmap navigation, but its immersive page remains gated until review cards, desk assets, and founder controls are verified for launch.
The concept is a spatial review desk. Instead of presenting every review, action, and artifact as another table, it places work on a desk surface: a review-card stack, an action-item notepad, draggable desk tokens, and a status strip.
The preview does not replace the Review Queue or the board. Those durable records remain the source for approval and lifecycle state.
Review cards and action items
The card stack is intended to surface review-ready submissions. A badge can show how many cards are waiting, while the selected card provides a focused object for inspection.
The notepad represents founder action items. It can make a small review list easier to scan, but checking or moving a visual item must not silently change the durable board. Review stays distinct from done, and only the founder moves approved work to done.
Use the desk to orient and select. Use the underlying review evidence to decide.
Desk tokens and spatial controls
Desk tokens are image-backed objects placed on the surface. The current source supports selecting, dragging, and scaling tokens. The desk can also pan and zoom so a large surface remains navigable.
Tokens can represent tools, artifacts, or visual anchors, but their position is not a formal priority system unless the product explicitly labels it that way. Moving a token should not be interpreted as assigning work, approving a submission, or publishing content.
The page also reports whether the desk surface and token assets loaded. Missing media is a rendering problem, not evidence that the associated review or action item disappeared.
Approval boundaries
Founder's Desk is designed around founder-controlled review. Automatic review indicators or switches must not bypass that boundary. A visual “on” state is not proof that a submission was approved.
Public communication, spending, account changes, submissions, and publication remain explicitly approval-gated. The desk can collect or organize those decisions; it does not grant authority to make them.
The status strip may summarize pending reviews and action items. Confirm those counts against the Review Queue and board before making a final decision.
When the desk looks wrong
If the desk background or tokens are missing, reopen the surface and check whether the installed package includes the current assets. Do not recreate a review item just because its visual token failed.
If cards or action-item counts disagree with durable records, use the Review Queue and board as the source of truth. If pan or zoom leaves the desk difficult to navigate, reset the view before interpreting what is absent.
If a token moves but does not remain after reopening the page, treat the placement as temporary. Capture the visible state and the affected object, then use the review path without changing approval state.
